BRITISH, SEASONAL AND SUSTAINABLE PRODUCE CHAMPIONED EACH MONTH BY CHEF CRAIG HENNESSEY AT THE ROBIN HOOD INN

CHAMPION OF THE MONTH British apples are the best tasting in the world. And it’s all down to the mild climate.

Regular rainfall helps to produce a juicy apple, cooler temperatures bring a crunchy texture and a dash of British sunshine develops that distinctive, delicious flavour. With hundreds of varieties available, there’s a Great British apple to suit any taste.

Now in their fourteenth growing season, Eva's organics produce an amazing variety of local organic fruit and vegetables right here in Cumbria, in their market garden at Low Luckens and orchard in Carlisle.
