Ingredients
Natural wheat stems. Our straws have been tested as gluten-free, and we test regularly to ensure they are safe for gluten-intolerant people.
We Support Small Farmers
We work directly with small farmers around the world to source our wheat stems. This offers an extra financial opportunity for the farmers to sell the stems, which are a byproduct of wheat harvesting.
Our wheat stems are hand harvested, and the best ones are selected for making HAY! Straws. This ensures the highest level of quality.
Minimally Processed
Unlike paper straws, which go through a pulping process with added chemicals, our HAY! Straws use the materials nature provides us. Our stalks are harvested, cut to length, and then thoroughly rinsed in sterile water three times to remove any dirt or bacteria. No chemicals are added—ever.
100% Compostable
HAY! Straws are 100% natural and can be thrown in the compost after use. They can be composted in backyard or municipal
composting facilities.
Eco Packaging
We use unbleached kraft boxes and print with soy-based inks. We’re proud to deliver our product in plastic-free packaging.
